What an exciting photo shoot at the Crosby Street Hotel in Soho, New York. I had rented a suite where the photo shoot was to be conducted. The photographer Timothi and her team of helpers arrived shortly after us and by then the creative play began. I was styled by the stylist while the light was being set up. It glittered in every corner of the room. For the next few hours we shot lots of photos. So many funny outfits and poses. Thinking back on the day with a big smile.
Halfway through the shoot I landed in deep repose. My cells were open and I was able to really enjoy being in the limelight. Previously, I was shy and very perfectionist about my photos, so it was a relief to feel that I now dare to be seen at a deeper level. I’m outgrowing an old shell, and stepping up. Stepping into a more relaxed, secure and powerful version of myself.
As the photo shoot finished, my husband and I celebrated with drinks, dinner and a wonderful night in the suite. The food was heavenly and the hotel really pretty. I highly recommend it if you are into the modern English atmosphere. The hotel is owned and designed by Kit Kemp who has won several awards for her design. We also had our little dog Yasmine with us. She enjoyed the many smells and the view. And she loved sleeping in the soft bed.
Watch my stepping-up-journey below, and make sure you use it as inspiration for up-leveling in your own life.
